Our Story

Ganana Institute of Medical Sciences and Technology (GIMSAT) is a post-secondary professional training institution which focuses on "Developing Careers" of student as well as development of communities. GIMSAT was incorporated on 12th October 2015 and it admitted its first batch of students in November of the same year. It was registered as a Technical and Vocational College in accordance with the TVET Act, 2013 on 14th April, 2016. The objective of establishing GIMSAT is based on the aspiration of providing accessible, affordable and quality education which has been a challenge in Northern Kenya .
